Okay I checked for some of the pasalubong you guys asked me for.

Lee: What kind of amp? Like a local one? Is aw a Marshall amp for like 4600 pesos (roughly 100$) but Robbie said the local ones will cost roughly 30$ Regarding helmets, I haven't seen any that aren't bell or regular full face unless you want like a Philippine military helmet.

Nino: What did you want?

Desy: Dangly earrings? More specific? Like did you want a hoop earring? Gold? Fake?

We went to see Lola Ding today. She doesn't remember any of us, not even mamang. It's her 95th birthday. She looks really good though. Auntie Pillaring was there. I didn't know she was 76. We also went to the 3rd biggest mall in the world. Friggen thing is literally like six blocks big.

Lauryn's been really shy. Today on the way from church, she got approached by a little girl begging her for money. Mamang chased the girl away which was funny in retrospect but overly sad at the same time. I kinda scolded granny for it. Lauryn is asleep now but I will have her write back to you guys tomorrow. Tomorrow we're supposed to go ot the Aquarium.

A couple nights ago, I met with a friend and it turns out she's like a trustfund baby. All of her friends own beach houses in various provinces and shit. It was kinda cool being driven around everywhere at whim. I remember thinking about how expensive the meal was for people living here (every dish was like 400p which is only like 10$ or so). We're supposed to go to some biker bar here called Handlebar then go to a cigar bar that one of them owns to smoke some cubans. I'm considering trying to bring some over in like another box.

Most of the bikes here are just functional scooters but I've seen some pretty cool choppers and bobbers. Apparently there's a really big 1% MC here called the Mad Dogs. They're all across asia.

Anyway I'll write more tomorrow.

(Mom):dear lala, congrats for getting into yale too. lee and lyndon takes turn watching the house but archie will be home next week for spring break. lauryn is having fun. it is not so hot yet. just 87 degrees and we live in a nice apartelle with swimming pool and the place is so close to the malls. wish you were all here . love mom
